Know Before You Apply

Fresno State is not an open-enrollment university.

All prospective students must meet CSU admission requirements and apply within the appropriate application period. Before applying, high school students should confirm they are completing the required college-preparatory courses, while transfer students should verify that they have completed the coursework and transfer requirements for their intended admission term. We recommend meeting with your high school or college counselor early to make sure you're on track.

    Often opens August 1 and can run with individual program deadlines stretching as late as March 1 or May/June depending on the specific graduate degree.

Visiting Campus

We periodically host designated campus and facility tour days for prospective student-athletes.

  • Designated tour dates will be posted here and on our social media.

  • If you plan to visit campus on your own, let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to arrange a facility tour and meet with a coach.

Facility tours are temporarily paused while we evaluate future tour opportunities. Prospective students are still welcome to visit Fresno State’s campus independently.
