Bulldogs Tune Up at USC Ahead of Conference Championships

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — February 5, 2022

The Fresno State Wrestling Club traveled to Los Angeles on February 5 for what was originally scheduled to be a dual against USC. Instead, the teams elected to hold a series of exhibition matches, giving wrestlers from both programs additional mat time ahead of the postseason.

Representing the Bulldogs were Jerry Coleman (141), Luis Jauregui (184), David Carrera (197), and Ricardo Jauregui (235). The scrimmage provided Fresno State with one final opportunity to sharpen up before the NCWA West Coast Conference Championships later in the month.
