Despite traveling light and navigating injuries, the Fresno State Wrestling Club competed hard in duals against USC and UCLA on February 7, 2015. The Bulldogs earned key wins, including a pair of pins and a major step forward for the women’s program.

For the first time in over nine years, Fresno State hosted a collegiate wrestling dual at home—this time as an NCWA club program. Backed by the Central Valley wrestling community, the Bulldogs put on a strong showing against CSU San Marcos at the South Gym.

Fresno State Wrestling broke new ground at the 2015 Menlo Open, as Amanda Ortiz and Rossana Aguilar became the first women to represent the Bulldogs in collegiate wrestling competition. The team also fielded five men in one of the toughest early-season tournaments in the West.

The Fresno State Wrestling Club stepped into elite company this weekend at the Roadrunner Open, facing off against NCAA Division I and nationally ranked opponents in one of California’s toughest early-season tournaments.

The Fresno State Wrestling Club kicked off its 2014–15 season at the Bill Musick Open this past weekend, sending eight wrestlers into action against a tough collegiate field hosted by Fresno City College.

The Fresno State Wrestling Club made its first appearance this past weekend at the Roadrunner Open, held at Selland Arena in Fresno. Mason Temple represented the club in the 157-pound bracket, marking the team’s competitive debut.
