Junior transfer Emmanuel Plascencia went a perfect 4-0 with four bonus-point victories to lead the Bulldogs at the Sac City Scramble on November 15 at Sacramento State.

The Bulldogs entered athletes into the 2nd Annual Battle at Sparta in San Jose to secure early season mat time, focusing on development and assessment rather than tournament placement.

Fresno State hosted the 3rd annual NCWA Veterans Day Duals on November 8 and 9 inside the Fresno State Student Recreation Center South Gym, welcoming programs from across the West Coast for a two day showcase of collegiate wrestling.

The Fresno State Wrestling Club kicked off its 2025–26 campaign at the Simpson Duals on November 1 in Redding, CA, featuring both the men’s and women’s squads. Despite fielding a short roster, the Bulldogs gained valuable early-season experience and saw standout wins from Jocelynn Benitez, Jazmin Kumler and Emmanuel Plascencia.

Senior captain Diara Spencer returned to the lineup for one final postseason run, helping spark Fresno State at the NCWA National Championships.

The Bulldogs regained momentum heading into the postseason, qualifying five wrestlers for the NCWA National Championships and welcoming back team captain Diara Spencer through a medical wild card.

Freshman Valeria Mendoza claimed a California State Championship at 131 pounds to lead Fresno State at the NCWA California State Championships. William Wareham added a runner-up finish as the Bulldogs wrapped up the regular season and turned their attention toward the postseason.

With both teams adjusting their lineups due to missing starters, Fresno State traveled to Atherton to take on the Menlo Oak Squad, Menlo College's developmental NCWA program.

Karma Pugh earned NCWA Freestyle All-American honors with a third-place finish at 131 pounds, leading Fresno State at the NCWA Women's Freestyle National Championships. Valeria Mendoza and Natalia Villalobos also earned top-eight finishes as the Bulldogs capped off a challenging weekend in St. George, Utah.

Facing significant roster shortages, Fresno State nearly withdrew from the NCWA Western Regional Duals before making a last-minute decision to compete. Despite competing with depleted men's and women's lineups, the Bulldogs battled to a seventh-place finish.
